OKAY, I'M IN. WHAT HAPPENS NOW?
STRUCTURE
Our projects are always group efforts and decisions are reached collectively. Our club core consists of 20 to 30 people who meet and exchange ideas every three weeks. The project team then discusses initiatives and events. The association, as the official organ and foundation, is managed by the board and there are many overlaps between members and people from the core club. You don't have to be a member of the association to get involved with us, but you are always welcome to join. We see ourselves as an activist movement and work with as little hierarchy as possible.
COMMITED VS. SPONTANIOUS
You are very welcome to get involved in the core of the club and work on projects or structures according to your capacities, or you can follow our channels and spontaneously sign up for initiatives and events. You can find all the information you need under get started. Working on things like communication, organisational development and the association itself needs a little more commitment. Building designs, doing admissions or supporting an initiative are all possible on an ad-hoc basis. Commitment is always part of it, but you decide how long you stay involved for.
TRANSPARENCY AND NETWORK
We try to make all of this as transparent as possible and want to enable everyone to get involved. We try to make use of the expertise and resources available within our vast network and collectively create more awareness for important issues. For us, it's more about the people and less about the money. But of course, money is necessary to make things happen and to keep the association alive as a foundation. You can find more information on this under downloads.
SHAPING AND MOVING THINGS TOGETHER
Sharing our knowledge and resources is very important to us. Not only our association benefits from your support, but also our network and the people of Hamburg. We are always happy to learn new things, are open to different perspectives and continue to grow together. We firmly believe that when individuals feel a sense of belonging and believe they can make a difference, they have the power to shape a happier society.
